Ticket registration for the event is open for six weeks and will close at 11pm on Monday 19 March.

Jessie J, Jack White and Ed Sheeran are among those confirmed for this year’s Hackney Weekend event in London.

BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend 2012 will take place on 23 and 24 June with 100,000 tickets available.

The majority of the tickets for the event are being allocated to people living in Hackney and the surrounding boroughs.

The location for the event was chosen to mark the 2012 Olympics, which start in east London a month later.

I don’t know if they are worth the £100+, but they do look far less prominent as the jumbo headphones.
